So my old roommate and i decided to start a book club! And we want ANYONE who is interested to participate! We are going to get together once a month and discuss the book we have read for that month.
I choose the first book: Twilight by Stephanie Meyer (sorry if this isn't your favorite... but it is my absolute favorite!... i know katherine you aren't too fond of it!). But at the first get together we will discuss what future books everyone wants to read!
EVERYONE is welcome to read along! Those of you in Texas, Washington, California... or wherever you may be! Please feel free to join and read and give input! I know you won't be able to come to the get togethers, but web cam is always available or email! Or if you just want an excuse to read a book!
And those of you in Provo area, please come! The first get together will be April 8 or 9 at my apartment (brad may or may not know this yet!) around 7:00 p.m. Any input would be great! Let me know if anyone is interested and we will be sure to keep everyone updated on what book to read next!

I am in a book club down here too. It is pretty fun. Wish I could come to your meetings. Keep me posted on the books you read, so I can get ideas.
I want to read those vampire books because I hear everyone loves them, but I am busy making wedding plans this month. Maybe I can squeeze it in. My question: haven't you all read that book already? ha ha Is this an excuse to re-read it or to decide if Brad would rather be a vampire or a werewolf?

I love to read. I read two of the vampire books. I am sure you will like them.
I'm taking the third book on our vacation. I can't come home until I finish it.

Ashley, we have a Book Club in our ward too. Sometimes I go, sometimes I cannot make it...but the gal in charge always sends out emails to each person, telling us what books to read next...the home where we will meet...and who is the discussion leader for the book. This summer we are to read "The Kite Runner"....and discuss it in September. It is a Best Seller Book....I bought the book, didn't get it read; our grandson Ben was here..picked it up and started reading it..couldn't set it down. So, I gave the book to Ben...and he finished it at home in Henderson, NV. He emailed me that it was very good. Better still...we saw the movie "The Kite Runner" and really liked the movie. It is at the University Mall $1 movies now. A tip: buy your books on line at Amazon.com...buy their "used books" as you can buy them for cheap..like $2 to $4.
My book club is not with our ward- just some moms getting together and I feel like the books are very intellectual and not really like me. We are suppose to read Song Yet Sung this month and I hear it is only hard back and not at the lib. yet. I guess I won't be reading it.
I am going to have to read Twilight. I told my sister about them at Christmas and she loved them.
Danielle you need to read twilight!!! Yea linds and i were saying let's only read books that can be found in the library so we don't have to buy them!! No tengo dinero!
