Luckily, since it was a state holiday yesterday, i was able to get off a few hours earlier! And brad decided to bring me cafe rio and a slurpee! So we left my work and went up the canyon to have a little picnic.

Mmmm, it was the best surprise ever! Brad knew i needed it since i was one of the few employees that had to stay so late!

Looks like you guys are having a good summer! I miss those mountains and can't wait to see them again. Althouhg, I can't complain about 80 degree wheater and the beach 15 miles away :) We'll have to get together when I get back. Brad is always so thoughtful. What a nice surprise. I see Brad was drinking Gatorade and not a Slurpee. I thought you were going to end your sentence about employees getting the day off with..."I was one of the few employees." That's right, isn't it?

Mom, everyone else got to leave earlier than i did! I had to stay later to make sure we got the mail... so i was one of the few who had to say later... but i still got to leave work before my normal time!
